If you type in “Jesus Christ” into Google, the top result is a link to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints–the mormons. Nowhere in sight is the Catholic Church or the Baptists or whatnot. Could there be a divine message here? There’s also this.

    Not surprising given that “Jeasus Christ” is actually part of the church’s name, and must therefore appear on their site (and be searched for by Mormans) far more frequently.

    Yeah, but the thing that makes Google such a great search engine is that it doesn’t base its results on whether the search term appears on your site. Results are based on how much others link to your site. This creates a ranking system that puts quality sites that have the most to do with your search term at the top, as opposed to the site who uses the search term in its text the most.
